Have you ever met people that talk about what they should do, could do, might do, or are going to do? But yet, they never actually DO anything? This is a real pet peeve of mine, as I try to do what I say I am going to do. You’ll see people do this in all walks of life, and their cousins are the ones that want to get everything perfect BEFORE they take action. The only problem is, it’ll never be perfect and they will never take action. Because this is never as important as it is in business.
It’s good enough goes a long way with business because it’s so important to just simply get going. If you have a product you want to launch or a new business service, just do it, like Nike says. Perfectionism, contrary to what a lot of people think, is a negative quality. It causes you to procrastinate what you could be getting done because you are too busy waiting for the day that will never come. You can always work out the details later, the important point to walk away with is, TAKE ACTION.
