The key to good health is a healthy mind, body, and soul. The above diagram gives micronutrient scores for the various food groups. Not surprising since kale is one of the healthiest foods there is, and it’s at the top of the chart. Note that foods that are refined contain hardly any nutritional value as their micronutrient scores are barely detectable. Also pay attention to the fact that fish has almost double the micronutrients as red meat.
The top 3 food groups that are super good for you:
- Non-green, non-starchy vegetables (score: 50)
- Beans/ legumes (score: 48)
- Fresh fruits (score: 45)
