enlightenment Hello and thanks for tuning in and checking out my blog. This is the second post of Optimum Philosophies. Throughout our daily lives we are often confronted by people that we don’t see eye to eye with. As a matter of fact, they may even offend us in some way, hurt our feelings, or anger us.

The first thing I try to remind myself is that everyone has a right to their own opinion, no matter how different from ours. That is one of the things that make life interesting. If we all thought and acted the same, it would be a boring place. Second, I try to view people as enlightened and ask myself what it is that I could possibly learn from them.

This applies in business as well as daily life. I believe we can learn from every situation that we encounter, and it often makes things more palatable to phrase it in this way to myself. Try it and see if it works for you. Remember, the more relaxed we can be on a daily basis, removing as much unnecessary  stress from our lives as possible, the better for our emotional and physical health.
