I’m often asked, “what’s the best exercise for…” The truth is that there are many great exercises out there for any given muscle group, and no one exercise is the end-all as far as exercise goes. Let’s take a bicep exercise for example. One person may argue that the incline dumbbell curl is a superior exercise over the standing barbell curl. But in reality, there are equally as good as one another,  and each exercise will diminish it’s effectiveness if an exercise routine is not changed up from time to time. So instead of worrying about what the best exercise is, instead focus on just doing your exercises consistently and changing up your routine every 3 months if not more often. The body likes change, and it likes to be shocked to produce greater results. That is by far more important than a single “best exercise”.
