Travel Exercise to do while on the Road
I’m often asked what type of exercises should a client do while they are on the road. If you travel for work, your routine has to change a lot and you don’t always get the luxury of going to a convenient and familiar place to workout.
It’s great if you have access to a gym, but that’s not really necessary either. With a little space, there’s lots you can do in a hotel room.
Push-ups, wall squats, chair dips, planks and lunges are just a few body weight strengthening exercises that come to mind. There’s also tons to choose from that allow you to get in some cardio at the same time like burpies, jumping jacks, chest openers, the list goes on and on.
And don’t forget to look outside as the area you’re visiting may have some great hiking, a park to jog, or a spot to jump some rope.
P.S. – The key ingredient to maintaining good health while traveling, is not overeating and making healthy food choices. Download our Free Eating Guide here to take with you on your trip.
