Fitting exercise into your day doesn’t have to be difficult or complicated, it just has to be a priority and ultimately it will become a habit. Here are 5 simple ways to fit it in even if you kids, a job, or a very busy life.

  1. Get up earlier in the morning and exercise in your home  before work and the business of the day take over. This may be difficult at first, and you may have to go to bed an hour earlier, but this is my favorite. I love to start my day off with purpose and a good workout.
  2. Exercise over your lunch break. What you do for work may dictate the type of exercise you can perform especially if you have a professional job that requires dress clothes, hair and makeup. This option may be easier for men.
  3. Exercise immediately after work be driving directly to your gym, fitness facility, or workout outside by hiking, mountain biking, swimming, or exercising outdoors.
  4. Break up the exercises into palatable chunks throughout the day. This was one of Bruce Lee’s favorite techniques and works extremely well for busy people.
  5. If you have a habit of watching television at night, as a lot of people do, try swapping the T.V. for your nightly exercise session. You may be able to do both at the same time, depending on your setup. If you have kids, get the kids involved by giving them a little activity and keeping it fun.

Most people that think they don’t have time often have much more than they originally thought once they evaluate where they are wasting their time.
