With Thanksgiving just around the corner, it’s important to stay on track with our health and fitness goals. The secret to eating a healthy, balanced diet is planning, and that especially applies during the holidays. Most people will overeat on Thanksgiving, and with that in mind, it’s really important to make sure you don’t put on weight if your goal is to lose it. A good idea is to try to get in some exercise early in the morning before all the festivities begin. Keep it simple but flexible, so if that means skipping a long workout in the gym, opt for maybe a short run or abbreviated exercise session. Remember, something is better than nothing. Also, attempt to eat really healthy the entire week and allow Thanksgiving to be your free day. And above all else, enjoy your meal and remember balance in life is key.
