Exercise bands are excellent for rehabilitation exercise since the band allows the given exercise to increase in intensity throughout the range of motion. In addition to rehab exercise, I think bands are fantastic to take with you when traveling. They are light weight and easy to fit into a suitcase on your next vacation. Bands are inexpensive and come with built in handles in a variety of thicknesses for varying resistance. You can probably pick up a decent set at your local sporting goods store. So next time you are preparing for a trip, there are no excuses for not getting in any exercise even if you’re staying in a tiny hotel room in sub-zero temperatures!
