If you think you don’t have enough time to exercise, I think you’re wrong. It usually boils down to priorities, and exercise may not be on the top of your list. However, it is recommended that everyone exercise to some degree each and every day. Therefore, it is in your best interest to adjust your priorities so that you can fit it in. Here are some suggestions as to how to do just that:

Write down a goal. In your case, that may mean joining a gym or hiring a trainer. Or possibly just rearranging an area in your home so that you have easy access to your equipment.

Tell someone about it. Studies show that people are more successful at reaching their goals if they tell another person about it. That is partly due to accountability, so don’t be afraid to share with someone you trust.

Ask for support. It’s not easy to take on a difficult task by yourself, so if you are fortunate enough to have a supportive family or friends, then good for you. If not, you may need to seek that out. Try approaching someone you know who you can form an agreement with to hold each other accountable. It may be a neighbor, or possibly a friend who has mentioned wanting to lose weight. Another idea is to join a sports league of some type.
