Workout Pain

Working out with painWorkout pain is not safe and is the old school way of thinking. It used to be thought that we should push through the workout pain. We now know that’s not a good idea. If you feel pain during your workout, your body is trying to tell you something, and you should NOT push through it.

Many people mistakenly label muscle fatigue as pain. Muscle fatigue is when your muscles are filling with lactic acid, and they begin to burn. That goes hand in hand with exercise, especially if you are pushing yourself as you should be.

Many people who aren’t very experienced with exercise have a difficult time telling these two feelings apart. Fatigue is normal, pain is not.
